NYBC is one of the largest independent, community-based, nonprofit blood centers in the United States.
JOINING OUR FIGHT TO SAVE LIVES -NYBC is now increasing the nation’s supply of convalescent plasma by collecting donations from those who have recovered from COVID-19. NYBC will collect, process the plasma for infusion, and maintain a bank for hospitals to treat patients with serious or immediately life-threatening COVID-19 infections. We are asking all eligible donors to come forward so we can treat as many patients as possible.

Climb for Childhood Cancer Research - May 2019
Did you know that childhood cancer is the leading cause of death by disease in kids under 15 in the US? Here is what I've done to change this -
I held a fundraiser to help Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation move one step closer to finding a cure for all children with cancer! On May 26, 2019, my son Justin and I set out out on a three-week journey to summit Denali, the highest mountain peak in North America. Many joined me in my efforts by making donations right to this page through the link below. The money donated helped to pay for research to find better treatments and cures for childhood cancer.

Denali (formerly known as Mount McKinley), rising above the Denali Fault in south-central Alaska, is the highest mountain peak in North America with a summit elevation of 20,310 feet (6,190 m) above sea level. Denali has been a mecca for mountaineering and adventuring for more than a century. Today, the park continues to enchant climbers, pack-rafters, skiers, dog mushers and athletes seeking to test themselves against the raw, unchecked power of a truly wild landscape.
American Kidney Fund Climb
Jeff teamed with friend, Justin Condon - as part of a fundraiser for the American Kidney Fund - in a climb of Aconcagua, 22,838', the highest point in the southern hemisphere.
The AKF give assistance to dialysis patients around the country, provide education and lead advocacy efforts to help millions of people.

Climb for Sight
Jeff was one of 12 people from across the US - as part of Climb for Sight - to ascend the awe-inspiring, 19,340 foot Mt. Kilimanjaro to raise funds for the treatment of children at the Pescatore Eye clinics in Guatemala.
During the next three years, the Pescatore Eye Clinics hope to eliminate all avoidable forms of childhood blindness from the poorest regions of Guatemala. Currently, 1 million children under the age of 14 live in these regions.
